setting it up

1. make a new 1.20.1 version with any mod loader that supports simple voice chat (if using the link below, make a fabric version for 1.20.1

2. download simple voice chat (https://modrinth.com/plugin/simple-voice-chat/version/fabric-1.20.1-2.5.16) 

3. add it to your "mods" folder

troubleshooting

why can people not hear you 

1. make sure you have a microphone

2. make sure that microphone is enabled

3. make sure that you are not muted in game 

4. make sure you have configured simple voice chat to use your microphone

why can i not hear people

1. make sure you have your volume turned up

2. make sure you have the correct audio output selected

3. make sure simple voice chat is outputting via that audio output

Just a side note, you do NOT need voice chat in order to play on the server. it is just highly recommended\. 

go to the Installations tab

 click New Installation

name it "Minecraft 1.21.1"

select "1.21.1" from the VERSION dropdown menu 

these instructions may be diffrent depending on the launcher you are using

1. Check the IP address

   1. click the server you want to edit

   2. click the "edit" button

   3. type in "justmc.us"

   4. click "join"

2. Make sure you do not have any client side mods added

   1. click "search" your task bar (windows)

   2. type "%appdata%"

   3. click on your launcher

   4. click on the "versions" file

   5. find your minecraft version (usually labled as 1211, which is the same as 1.21.1)

   6. click on "mods" folder

   7. move all files in that folder to your desktop

3. Am i connected to the internet?

   1. click the internet icon

   2. click your network 

   3. click connect

1. Why is my framerate so bad?

   1. lower your render distance to 12 or less

   2. set your quality to "fast"

   3. close other programs and websites

   4. remove mods and shaders
